Livingoods Observe Golden WeddingWell Known Post Township People Honored SaturdaySaturday, October 21, 1933, marked -the date of the Golden Wedding anniversary of an old and highly respected Post township couple, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Livingood, north of this city, and the event was celebrated with a large gathering of relatives and friends being invited t-o their home, where the joys and sorrows of that long and happy journey -together could be recounted and told to those near and dear to them, and we are very glad to state that the joys have far exceeded the sorrows along the way, and here’s our heartiest congratulations and the hope that many more years of happy and healthful years may be in store for these fine folks.At noon an elaborate wedding feast was spread from the contents of the huge baskets of goodies brought by the guests and the afternoon was spent in an enjoyable social season.Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Livingood and family of Detroit Lake, Minn.; Charles Pechia and sister, Mrs. Everett Fingeson, of Audubon, Minn.; (Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Livingood and family, and Frank Turner, of WateryUle; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Winters and family, Mr. and Mrs. Albeit Gilson and daughter, of Monona; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kram-beer and daughters, of Luana.Mr. and Mrs. Willard Livingood and family, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Livingood and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Livingood and family, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Lawson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Livingood and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Mil burn Moose and daughter, 'Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Thornton and daughter, Mr. and Mrs, Harvey Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Smith and daughter, Mrs. Emma Livingood and family, Misses Pearl and Ethelyn Smith, Miss Laura Lewis, all of Postvulle.Mr. and Mrs. Carl Winters and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Moose and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Ludeking and family, Harry Westerholm and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Miller and son, Miss Marie Miller, all of Waukon.And during the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. C. C. DeWitt, Mr. and Mrs. Chas.
