FRED CORD.(Prom Wcdactdafa Dally.)Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cord, one ofIt3 | the well known young couples living east of this city in the St Vincent neighborhood, were given a most delightful surprise last night by a large company of their relatives and friends, the occasion being in celebration of their tenth wedding anniversary.The party had been planned by 5 [ members of the company, without the least hint of what was going on being given to either of the young people, and the surprise was complete in every detail,Mr. and Mrs. Cord received many fine presents, most of them being of tin variety, signifying the tenth anniversary. Almost every one of the guests had brought a basket filled with good things to eat and there was alsc a generous supply of pop corn and pumpkin pies. Those making up the company were: Mr. andMrs. Henry Cord, Mr. and Mrs. George Cord and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Cord and family, Mr. and Mrs. Will Cord and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Runnebohm, Mr. and Mrs. John Wislcer, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rosenfeld, Mr- and Mrs. Lawrence Miller and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Brown, Henry Wissing, Pictor Ham merle, Edward Siefert, Miss Cora Worland and Miss Florence Worland.Mr. and Mrs. Cord were married at 9 o’clock on the morning of October 24, 1906, in St. Vincent’s church, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Fr. Frederick Ketter, who had then been with theIj church eight months. Mrs. Cord wasformerly Miss Eva Worland.The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Cord join in wishing them many happy returns of the day.
