Patton Thought An Injustice Had lk*4*n lhiu* Hit (iraurlxoii —Marshal railed to Scene*Wednesday^ Evening News.Au exciting scene was ensured at the East Connersville school house, this morning, which, while it had a serious aspect for a time, had no unpleasant results.A 12-year-old colored lad, Forrest Kidd by name, was responsible for the incident. The lad had been sent by his teacher, Miss Sparks, to the blackboard to do some work, evidently to his displeasure, for he acted in a very unbecoming manner and when can tinned about his deportment threw an eraser on the floor and started to leave the room. The tearhor intercepted his flight and endeavored to remonstrate with him but the lad was obstinate and proceeded to his home.The child’s grandmother, Mrs. Patton, after hearing the lad’s story, naturally thought the • boy In the right and accordingly made her way to the school house, accompanied, it is said, by a revolver. No trouble resulted but for a time the air was filled with excitement. Marshal Pippin was called in. however, and succeeded In inducing the lady to return to her home.
