Hopp at their home on North Chestnut street In Glenwood Wednesday afternoon on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary*. • •The bride and groom of fifty years ago, greeted all callers- Hi the commodious living room of their home. Their daughtersdftf-law, Mrs. Leo Bopp, Mrs, Rudolph Hopp, Jr., Mrs. Fred Hopp, Mrs.-Edward Hopp and Mrs/ Ralph Hopp, and two granddaughters, Mrs. Walter Phifer and Mrs; Fred Woif presided over the serving table in the dining room, where a beautiful golden wedding cake stood between two candelabra.Among the callers in the afternoon was their longtime friend, Rev, E. E. Goodrich, who was observing his D2nd birthday that day and who, at the request of the family, offered a short prayer. Among those from a distance who called during the afternoon hours were Mr, and Mrs. W. C. Children of Council Bluffs, Mr. and Mrs, E. D. Wilson of Elliott, Mrs. Clement Wilson, Elliott, Mrs, Willis E. Reed of Madison, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. A, C. Lewis of Macedonia and Mrs. George Hartman of Council Bluffs,Seventy-five relatives and close friends were entertained at a 6:30 o’clock turkey dinner, which was served by the ladies of the Methodist church in the church dining room. The tables were arranged to form a large **H.” The bride aiid groom, their brothers and sisters and Rev. and Mrs. H.G.
