A sumptuous dinner was served at noon to which ail did ample justice. ______ The afternoon was spent in visit-ming and listening to several good talks cubic land singing, after Mr, and Mrs. Moore received the congratulations of the entire crowd. Later ice cream and cake were served.Mr. and Mrs, Moore are among the pioneer .settlers of Kansas. They were married September 18, 1875, at the Baptist pai‘sonage, Centerville, Iowa, by Rev, Edwards and three years later came to Kansas and settled on a homestead in Meredith township, dence where continued to make their cojcjihome until about fifteen years ago when they moved to Mil ton vale, where they have since lived, Mr. and Mrs. Moore are the parents of nine children, an older son, Martin dying in 191G,Those present at the anniversary celebration were Mrs. Mattie Cridle-baugh and son, Wilbur, and daughter, Hazel, Mr. and Mra.
