NOTICE: Trick or-Treat-It'll be an early trick for the village young (and old) embarking on their candy and apple prowl this year.Village Council has established the annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat night for Thursday, Oct. 29, 6:30-8:30 p.m.Co-operation of youth and parents is requested. Mayor Gerald N. Gorell said the earlier-than-usual timing resulted from a combination of several factors, principal among them two football games. GHS is out-of-town Fri. Oct. 30 playing in Pataskala, and, the next night, Saturday, unusually heavy traffic is expected in the Village due to Newark Catholic using the local Harmon Burke field.
