MISS RUTH LEWIS TO WED RUCKER TRIPLETT.Friends of Miss Ruth Lewis, popular Sedalia young lady, will read with interest of her engagement and ap proaching marriage to Mr. Rucker Triplett, a former well known Sedalia young man, now of Kansas City, whose wedding will be quietly solemnized Sunday afternoon, October 25, in Kansas City.While the marriage has been anticipated by intimate friends of the couple for some months, the date has been withheld until this time.The bride-to-be is one of Sedalia’s most attractive and refined young ladies. She has been employed for some months in the offices of the Missouri State Fair which position she resigned last week. She is a i member of the Methodist Episcopal church, South, where she has taught in the Sunday school, and has also been a member of the choir for several years. She is a member of the Business and Professional Women's club quartette, and has taken part on numerous of its programs.For a number of years, she has been making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Licklider, 631 East Fifteenth street.Both Miss Lewis and Mr. Triplett were members of the class of 1922 of the Sedalia High school.Mr. Triplett until recently was employed on the news staff of the Sedalia Democrat, but is now with the news department of the Kansas City Times. He is a member of the Missouri National Guards, which has its headquarters in this city.After their marriage, the couple will go immediately to housekeeping at 505 West Thirty-Ninth street, Kansas City, Missouri.Miss Lewis, accompanied by Mrs.Licklider, will go to Kansas CitySunday morning.* * • *!1atCdI• •
