{court house]TRIBUTE TO SERVICEMEN* Court house flag was lowered to half-mast today in honor of Private First Class James A, Engel, whose body arrived here late Tuesday from overseas for military burial Thursday. Pfc. Engel Was killed in the Philippines in April, 1945, while he was serving in the armed forces. The flag-lowering observance at the court house, out of respect for all overseas military dead whose remains are returned to Erie-co for burial, is ordered by the county commissioners in compliance with combined request of local veterans organizations. 1
