REV. AND MRS. GEORGE JOHNSTONCelebrate AnniversaryRev and Mrs George H. Johnston of Sandlick celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Friday. Oct. 3 A surprise reception was given by their children.The celebration was held at Green Valley-Glenwood Fire Department Those attending were family, friends and members of Calvary Tabernacle.The table was covered, centered with a three tier cake decorated in green and yellow, with white cloths. The room was decorated with silver and white streamers and bellsMrs Sandy Cochran of Iit-tlesburg Road served the cake Punch was served by Mrs. Debbie Johnston and Mrs. Tammy WtmmerRev. Johnston is the pastor of Calvary Tabernacle and is employed by Fairmont Supply of Bluefield.The couple have seven children, Mrs. Genevieve Dunford of Wytheville, Va.; Mrs Beverly Parker of Glen-wood. Mrs Teresa Dunford of Iittlesburg Road, Orville Johnston. Denrue Johnston, Karen Johnston and Lois Clark, all of the home Thevalso have two grandchildren.
