Healys Noting 50th Wedding AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Peter M. Healy of 245 W. Third St., are today celebrating the 50th anniversary of their marriage. The wedding was solemnized in St. John’s church on Oct. 19, 1910. Miss Evelyn Healy, retired Os-wego school teacher whose death occurred recently, was bridesmaid while her brother, the late Frederick Healy, was best man. They were sister and brother of the bridegroom.Mrs. Healy is the former Miss Maud Williams, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wil-| Ham M. Williams of the Fifth ward. Her father for many years served in the Oswego Fire Department as foreman of Hook Ladder Co. No. 2. Mr. Healy is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Healv of 178 W. Eighth St. His father for a long time conducted a grocery and market at W. Eighth and Mohawk Sts. and was a leading business man of the Third ward.Marking the anniversary will be a family dinner this evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs.! William F. Healy, 26 Erie St., son and daughter-in-law of the honored couple. Present from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. Albert O’Connor of Buffalo; Edward Combs of Syracuse and Mrs. Anna Healy of Potsdam The latter is the mother of Mrs. William F. Healy.The couple also received the ■ congratulations of many friends j and neighbors.Mr. Healy, until two years ago, was timekeeper at the plant which is now the Cyclo- j therm Division of The Crane Co.
