Mr. and Mrs. KammerJames Warren and Shirley Ann (Shaw) Kammer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 5, 2009.A celebration for friends and family was held on September 11, 2009, at the Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles.The Kammers were married September 5,1959, at Lafayette Methodist Church in Syracuse. As a teenager, Jim would frequently ride by Shirley’s house on his bicycle and toss pebbles up at her window to get her attention. After all these years, he still has her attention, and without having to throw anything!The family includes children Pamela Ennis, of Towan-da, Pa., Carolyn Senick, of Ocala, Fla., Eric Kammer, of Phoenix, N.Y., and Melissa Groetz of Dallastown, Pa., and four grandchildren,Jim is a retired carpenter and worked for 54 years.Shirley retired from Deluxe Check Printers after 19 years.
