Church officially opened its new dining room on Sunday, October 6 at 5GC West 4th Street in Georgetown. The new dining room will be open to the public each Sunday from 11:45 to 2 p.m. with a con.mittee of the church members serving dinner.Mrs. Martha Tanksley is the chairman of these serving committees with Mrs. Ethel Harrison, Miss Agnes Wilson, Mrs. Dora Queen, Mrs. Murriel Brown,Mrs.0. B. Gray, Mrs. A. B. Perry Brown, Mrs. Lorene Henry, Mrs. Lenora Jackson, and Mrs. Thelma Rose serving with her.At the reception last Sunday in the ne\* dining room, refreshments were served from a beautifully appointed table laid with a white linen cutwork cloth and centered with an arrangement of roses. Punch was served from a silver punch bowl at one end and coffee from a silver service at the other end of the table. Guests were served by Mrs. Annie Bass, Miss Agnes Wilson, Mrs. A. B. Perry Brown, Rev. and Mrs. G. H. Walker, pastor, Mrs. Ora B. Gray, and Mrs. Bashie Green.
