Sycamore nips Maple CrestSycamore's Spartans eked out a 28-26 victory over Maple Crest at Haworth Stadium Wednesday to ad-. vance to the finals of the middle school football playoff.Andre Twitty scored three touchdowns for the victorious Spartans. His . first came on a five-yard, pass from Scott Thatcher. Then he scored Sycamore’s next eight points on a 60-yard. Idckoff return and a two-point run.Emmitt Hatcher scored the Spartans' next eight points on a two-yard run and added the conversion.Twitty’s last touchdown was a 50-yard scamper.Sycamore will meet Lafayette Park at Haworth next Wednesday at 6:30 for the showdown battle.
