MR., MRS. JOHN KLOSSMr. and Mrs. John Kloss, ofi this city former residents ofMadison, will be honored at an open house, Sunday, October 18, in honor of their60th wedding anniversary. Theopen house will be held at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Martin Deckard, 630 North Pine street, from 2 until 5 o’clock in the afternoon. Friends are invited.They were married at North Madison on October 17, 1904, at the home of Mrs. Kloss's parents. Mr. and Mrs. William O’Loughlin, by the Rev. C. E.Hester.Mr. Kloss is a retired car i inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad, having worked from 1909 until 1945. During thattime they lived at North j Madison, Columbus, and New Albany, moving to Seymour from Columbus in 1923.*Mr. and Mrs. Kloss are members of the First Methodist Church and Mr. Kloss is a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge, while Mrs. Kloss is a member of the Pythian Sisters.Mr. and Mrs. Kloss are the parents of five children, four of whom are living. They are Dale Kloss of Indianapolis,Mrs. Eva Distel of BeechGrove, Deane Kloss of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Ethel Deckard,; of Seymour. The Klosses also have three grandsons, three granddaughters, four great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
