Couple Honored On 68th AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. John Logsdon of Evanston, Ind.. who have retired, and are now living with their son, Arlte Logsdon, Sr., in Huntingburg, will celebrate their 68th wedding anniversary tomorrow. However, the event was celebrated Sunday, Oc-Huntingburg VFW Aux. Holds October MeetingThe Huntingburg Ladies Auxiliary to Post No. 2366 met in the V. F. W. hall October 4 with 26 members present.Two new members. Darlene Eckert and Elsie Cronin, were initiated into the auxiliary.The membership chairman reported dues coming in very good and she hoped to have 100% by Fall Conference.The hospital chairman reportedtober 13, at the Huntingburg Conservation club, near Huntingburg.A carry-in dinner and supper were served and the following sons, daughter and their families were present: Mr. and Mrs. George Logsdon, Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Logsdon. 9r., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Logsdon of Huntingburg; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Logsdon of Tell City; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Logsdon and Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Logsdon of Evansville; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Logsdon and son of Chandler; Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Logsdon and family of Jasper; Mrs. Margaret Heckel of Louisville; Mrs. Kunnle Wolf and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shaw of Evanston. Arlie Logsdon. Jr., and family of Texas were unable to be present.Dancing was a part of the entertainment for which the music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Elshoff and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Gus Kerkhoff and son of Huntingburg and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Barnett and son and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Hall of Dale.
