Sunday Will Be Appreciation Day To Honor Second Baptist .Ministeric■eaIt1-t,dIIcIn appreciation of the fine work of their pastor, the Rev. «T. W. Carr, under whose leadership the new Second Baptist Church has been completed, the people of that congregation have taken it upon themselves to set aside Sunday as Appreciation Day in his honor.He has been pastor of the localcongregation will be guests and he! will deliver the sermon.Following the service an old I fashioned basket dinner will be1 served in the dining room. All members of the . church are asked to bfing their baskets and families.An ^ afternoon program will be given to honor the pastor. The Rev. Mr.'. Summers wifi speak and a representative of each of the Auxiliaries of the church will have a part on the program. Everyone will be welcome and an enjoyable time is anticipated. Plas Mays, a deacon, is chairman and the Rev. L. J. Jackson, co-chairman for the Appreciation Day.A meeting has been called for 7 p. m.
