Ray Eivinseswed 50 yearsOct. 22, 1974WINTERSET - Mr. and Mrs. Ray Eivins will be observing their 50th weddinganniversary on Tuesday, Oct. 22. They were married on thatdate in 1924 at the home of her parents, the late James Thomases, who lived south of Macksburg, and except for a few years in Colorado they have always lived in Madison county.Their four children, James W. Eivins and Earl E. Eivins of Colorado Springs, Colo., John Eivins of Prescott, Ariz., and Mrs. Richard (Donna) Plocher of Mount Clemens, Mich., along with part of their families, enjoyed a family dinner with them in August. No open house is being planned on this date, but friends are welcome to call.
