Appear At the State Centen- j nial Exhibition.Six of the local high school students who are taking work in the commer- t cial department, accompanied by their ^ instructor, William Coughlin, went to Indianapolis Friday to conduct a com- r mercial exhibit at the state centennial 1 exhibition. There they displayed £ the work of the local high school and i also how it is done. 'The students taking part in the Tn- c dianapolis exhibition were: Esther tParks, Clara Gollner, Bessie Raines, \ Noravene Dixon, Neva Bourne and c Gladys Dixon. :1I At* the exhibition they were provid- C ed with six Remington typewriters by! the Remington agency at Indianapolis f and a dictaphone by the dictaphone i people. The girls took the dictation I from the machine on their typewriters \ as it was given them. They also wrote t some dictation in shorthand and then t transcribed it. iEverybody in Indianapolis who saw r the exhibit of the local commercial t students had a word of praise for j ! them. J
