S A. Lewie, pastor of the A. M E. church Id Moueesen, held a committee meeting yesterday afternoon and decided tc employ an attorney. The col red people will insist on having their children ptopeily reinstated in the school. They recent the action of the school board and dispute the fact that the board had either the legal or moral right to make a separation of the scholars.Rev. Lewi* said this morning: “This is the first time for many years that a case of this kind has come under my obeerva ion and there is no law in the state that will hack tne actions of this school board. We propose tc have our children properly reinstated and educated under our American common scbocl system.” Adaui M. Wyant will appear as attorney for the colored people.
