Qur New Steamer.—A one storywooden building is being erected between the fire engine house end the mayor’s office for the accommodation of the new steamer now being built for Delphos by the Ahrens Co., of Cincinnati. It is expected that ft will arrive here in about three weeks. Through the efforts of Otto Ostendorf the two lines of railroad over which it must come from Cincinnati to Delphos, have agreed to transport it free of freight charges. This is a saying of quite afreight bill, and will make our small burden of debt still lighter to bear. It is good to know that the public treasury is guarded with such watchful care.
