McCurdy couple marks 50th yearHenrietta and Mark McCurdy of 21 Evergreen Drive, Greenville, were married on Columbus Day, Oct. 12. 1942, In Greenville.She taught English In Fredo-nia and the Reynolds Area High School for 21 years.Mark, his sister Mary, and brothers. Wallis and Wells, operated the family business, S.S. McCurdy Jewelry Store, established In 1921.Both honorees are members of First United Methodist Church and Greenville CountryClub.They celebrated their anniversary In the Shenandoah Valley at their son’s home in Mt. Sidney. Va.. with their son Frank, his wife Donna, and grandson Mark. Frank Is a guidance counselor and football coach at Western Albemarle High School In Charlottesville. Va. Also Joining in thecelebration was their daughter, Martha Jo Sharp and her husband Sandy, and granddaughter, Amy, from Pocantlco Hills, N.Y. Their other granddaughter. Laura, attends college. Martha Jo Is a pharmacist at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla. N.Y.
