By RICHARD CUNNINGHAMA deep concern for the well-being of young persons has prompted a Madison Twp. housewife to spearhead a drive to make the Unionville Civic Center a recreational spot for teenagers.“There’s too much destruction and nothing much for them to do,” said Mrs. David Titman, 7820 S. Ridge Rd.Madison Twp. Trustee Gary Bukky first brought her proposal to public attention at this week’s trustee meeting.“We can get something going,” Bukkysaid.“I don’t know what it would involve. But I’m willing to look into it and try,” Mrs. Titman said.Although plans are indefinite, she did mention dance bands, refreshments and just having a place where the teens can “get together until about 10 o’clock.”Mrs. Titman is the mother of three boys.“THE ONLY THING that would be involved is getting people that would be willing to oversee things. I’m sure anyone inthe community who has children would go along with this,” she said.“I don’t know if we could have it (the center) free or what charge it would involve.”She added that her busband is in charge of renting out the building, but trustees must approve its specific uses.
