Chillicothe. will receive an all-expense paid trip to the national convention in Houston. Texas on Dec. 3-7.An engraved plaque will be presented to Gutshall at the national convention as one of the 1976 Regional agri-business career exploration award winnersHonored Three Timet In recognizing Gutshall for the national award, information from the Missouri Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association, noted • that the Chillicothe instructor also had been previously honored on the state and regional level Regional IV includes Missouri. Michigan. Indiana. Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio Gutshall has been notified by James Wall. NVATA executive secretary, that has been named one of the six regional winners The awards are sponsored annually by Sperry New Holland, New Holland, Penn., in cooperation with the National Vocational Agriculture Teachers' (NVATA) in Lincoln, Neb.The NVATA is the national organization for over 10,000 vocational educators in agriculture-agr I-business throughout the United States Students need the counseling and guidance of mature, experienced, and interested adults Vocational agriculture teachers have the opportunity and information to help students make vocational decisions.Recognises Teachers The award recognized teachers who have designed and implemented a course of study emphasizing occupation orientation and stressing career opportunities in production agriculture and agn business occupation The winners of the award are vocational agriculture teachers whose interests in their students and American agriculture motivated them to devise and conduct strong local innovation career orientationthecontinuing or revising program.Gutshall Here Slace 1961 Gutshall came to the R-2 school system as a vocational agriculture instructor in 1961.
