Mr. and Mr*. Walt or FrickFricks observe 50th anniversaryMr. and Mrs. Walter E. Frick, 1309 Powers St., observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 9.They were married in 1926 by the Rev. August Muller, at the home of Mrs. Frick’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Drews, Winchester. Attendants were Scilda Frick, maid of honor, Fred Drews, best man, Mrs. Mildred (Drews) Marks and Mrs. Irene (Arndt) Sawalt.The couple has two daughters, Mrs. Waller (LacyMe)Parsons, Columbus, and Mrs. Karl (Vila) Rockhoff, Oshkosh, 10 grandchildren, and one great-granddaugh-ter.Mr. and Mrs. Frick had lived and farmed in Fremont until 1843, when they moved to Oshkosh. Frick retired from theBuckstaff Co. in 1960 after 19 years of service. Mrs. Frick worked for the Miles Kimball Co. for 22 1/2 years before retiring in 1968.They are members of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
