Tie Venango County Association for the Blind was chartered in 1927. It’s first offices were located in the Veach Building. In 1940 it received as a gift the building it now occupies at 406 West First Street, and in 1948 the association purchased the building next door to which it is now adjoined. The Association for the Blind has had no public drives of its own for funds; as much of its work k carried on through private help from friends of the association.
