Sanders Killed In ActionMemorial Rites Sunday For Former ResidentWord has been received by relatives here of the death of Private Roy E. Sanders, former local and Dilworth resident, who was killed in action in France on September 12. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Sanders, who moved from this community seven years ago, and now reside in Milwaukee, Wis., re-ceived notice from the war department a week ago.Private Sanders, who has been serving overseas with the infantry since last April, enlfsted in the army in November, 1943. He received his basic training at Camp Blanding, Fla.Surviving besides his parents is a sister, Mrs. George Kimpel, also of . Milwaukee. Relatives in this community include two aunts, Mrs. Carl Larson, 1224 Fifteenth avenue north, a sister of Mr. Sanders, and Mrs. Joseph Wick, 606 Fifth street south, a sister of Mrs. Sanders.Memorial services will be held in Milwaukee on Sunday.
