CorrespondentEach year the Ford City Chapter of the American Field Service sponsors an exchange student and this year they have sponsored Juan CorlosJuan comes to us from La Paz. Bolivia, and so far has really enjoyed his stay in theU.S. Juan is staying with Mr and Mrs. Robert Woodside of Ford City, and he says that from what he has seen so far. the biggest difference let-ween the U.S. and Bolivia is the food. Juan is looking forward to a good year at F C and has already participated on the footbafi team as a kickerThe Student Council is optimistic about its choice of “Mr. Co-Ed for its fall, allschool play production The play is a three act comedy.and will be producedsometime in NovemberThe F C H S. band w ill play for the Graff Bridge opening which is scheduled for October 17 Plans are also bein made for three Senior Ban members to play for the State Band in Hershev Hester Clever will be playing the bassoon; Linda Placha, the clarinet; and Karen Thorne, the French hornCongratulations to the golf team and their sponsor and coach Gladysiewski for their fine season They finished second in the section.
