Armella Isabella SchmidtCHEYENNE WELLS, Colo. -Funeral services for Armella Isabella Schmidt, 65, were Sept. 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery.Schmidt died Sept. 25, 1992, at the Cheyenne County Hospital after a long illness. She was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Liebenthai, to Alex and Mary Pfeifer. She married Francis J. Schmidt on July 29, 1947, in Liebenthai. He died in March. She had been a resident of Cheyenne Wells for 24 years.Survivors include two daughters, Linda Sue Unruh and Mary Francis Ziegler, both of Cheyenne Wells; four sisters, Florence Matal, Liebenthai, Carrie Stecklein, Alva, Okla., Marie Schwartz, Great Bend, Nora Schmidt, Great Bend; two brothers, Joe Pfeifer, Hays, and Jerry Pfeifer, Liebenthai; six grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother.
