Energy Plans Building To Double Size Of Factory In MonticelloOn TV Show* Plans to double the present size and manufacturing capacity of the Energy Equipment Co. were announced this week by G. J. Paskcr, owner and general manager.According to Pasker, the Proctor building, one of Monticello’s old landmarks, will soon be torn down and the area from the corner to the present plant leveled 'and made ready for construction next spring.New Lines Need for the additional manufacturing space developed with plans to begin manufacture of several new lines of farm equipment for national distribution. Present manufacturing space is already taxed to the limit, Pasker reports, with manufacture of present items and subcontracting of special machine work.The new building, to be erected directly adjoining x the present plant, will be of similar construction, two floors high. It will be fabricated of steel with wide expanses of glass, on the site, in the same manner that the expansion made a year ago was done. The Express carried several stories and pictures at that time of the progress of building work.Double Size “The new plant will double the size of our factory,” Pasker told the Express Tuesday of this week.
