celebrated at reunionMahala Dixon celebrated her89th birthday recently at an annual family reunion at Mounds State Park.She came to Anderson from Gulfport, Miss., in 1955 and now makes her home with a daughter, Carrie Nunn, 1523 Nelle St.Mrs. Dixon had 16 children. The nine still living are William Dixon, Mary Simmons, Annie Nunn, Sam Dixon, Charlie Dixon, Celia Watson, Carrie Nunn, Allen Dixon and L.C. Dixon. She has 19 grandchildren, 158 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.MAHALA DIXON
