They had j notified their friends through the press that they would keep open doors that day. As a result they were kept j busy during the afternoon and cvain Ing meeting and greeting friends who ! swarmed in upon them to extend good i wishes.There were forty-five grand children and three great grand children i there. They all brought well filled ! baskets ami at noon they enjoyed a ■ picnic dinner together.Mr. and Mrs. Korleski were the res' cipLents of $25 in gold as a wedding j gift. There are ten living children in the Korleski family and all were ! present. Those living near Emmets-j burg are Mrs. Mary Friesc, Mrs. Katie j Foothy, Mrs. Julia Fell, Joe and W.I L. Korleski. Those from outside were ] Mi's. Agnes Doerning- of Graittinger, j Mrs. Anna Peterson of Arnolds Park i Mrs. Rose Laughlin and Mrs. Julia ! Domliech of Minneapolis and John . Korleski of Atlantic. One son, Frank,! passed away a few years ago. His \ wife and children attended the wed-j ding.j Mr. and Mrs. Korleski were both j horn in Germany. Mr. Korleski was I 16 ana Mrs. Korleski 14 years of ago when they came to America. They were married in Illinois. They came to Palo Alto county 39 years ago and i located on a farm in Fairfield town-! ship. Thirteen years ago they retired j from farming and established their : home in Emmctsburg where they subsequently resided.They built a beautiful home and | are living happily. Their yard is wlth • beautiful flowers .and. j is one of the^nttructCve~p)^ces^}n^onr': ! city.I Honest, upright, frugal, neighborly and kind, we find in Mr. and Mrs. Korleski a man and woman who may be listed among our best people.May they live to enjoy many morewedding anniversaries in health and happiness. -T--
