Unable to obtain a quorumat yesterday’s meeting, the sessionwas postponed until Oct. 19., Mr. Slogeris said lack of funds hinders work of getting children into school.The Council’s preliminary survey showed that there is an insufficient number of truant officers in El Pasoto enforce school attendance laws, and that classroom space is insufficient if all children of scholastic age demanded their rights to attend school.“The public and private school buildings would take care of onlythree-fourths of the children,” Mr. Slogeris said.
