October 2 to do honor to James Francis Shuey whose 80th hJrth'Jay was the occasion of the gatherlhgIhe dinner was arranged by his ch i I d r e n and their families assisted by Mrs J F Shuey. Ill Walter II Shuey ofC.tcenup, Illinois and .T V ofArgenta the sister Mrs MarthaEHt.a Collins of Irl nna, III A bro thcr-in*Iavs, Charles Ormfahi ofCreenup was also present, as was Mrs Elt;:ra Shuey of Emporia The children are Mrs Stella Munch of Weldon, Mrs Myr.l* D Wool'Jrldge of Latham, Sherman S and Olln Bruce of ArgentaDINNERDinner was served at 12 15 in the basement of the church Just before serving a song wan sung and a short prayer was offered by Jtev W N Montgomery of the M E Church It was a splendid dinner.PROGRAM After dinner the crowd went above to the chapel where a short program »vne heldTho male quartet consisting of T N Munch Rev W P Kesswger, J A Cross and A J Cross rendered two fine selections r N Munch was toast muster.
