issuerTHE 40XH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond J. Valliere will be observed Sunday at their Oak Ridge home with Open House from 2-9 p. m. Mrs. Valliere is the former Laura Morin of this city. The couple were married Oct. 8, 1917, in St. Andre church by Rev. Alfred Reny. Witnesses for the ceremony were Mrs. Rose (Morin) L’Heureux and Oliver Lariviere. Mr. and Mrs. Valliere were employed by the Andrews Horigan market in this city and later in local shoe shops including the Kennebunk Kesslen firm, Saxe-GIassman company of Saco, and the Bruce Shoe company on Western avenue. Valliere completed duties with the Bruce firm five years ago due to ill health and Mrs. Valliere has also retired. Hostesses for the Sunday fete are Mrs. Harold Duranceau
