Socially Speakingby PatNow that freshmen womenhave chosen their social clubs, the clubs are beginning to move into a full swing o f events. A hayrack ride, come-as-you-are breakfast, and party for new members were activities on the social calendar this week. Clubs are now busy making plans for their Homecoming floats.Last Saturday night the'Iota Psis and Sigma Dells had their first informal party—a hayrack ride to Mears Park. The evening was spent in square and round dancing.The Theias had a “Come-As-You-Are” breakfast Sunday morning in the Home Ec room to welcome the new members. The girls came dressed as-they-were when they were asked, which in many cases was quite unusual, to say the least.The Tri Gamm^ had a party for their new members at the Haworth home Tuesday night. A little of the club’s history and the club’s purpose was explained to the girls, and the activities of the year were presented.Tonight the Women’s Residence Hall will be the meeting place of the Ottawa University Women’s Club. The social is to introduce the new members. After a short meeting, light refreshments will be served.Last Thursday all the new students were given a chance to give their preference about a club choice.
