Services were conducted from the M. E. church with Rev. A. PI owe, in charge.Mrs. Anna Braun Zingg was born in Kur * Hessen, Germany, June 6th, 1845. She was baptized June 22,^ 11845 at the Evangelical Reformed church in Bnukirchen, Germany.[r I -She came with her parents to America in 1S49 or when she was but £0 four years of age, and has therefore tli| spent her whole conscious life in this country. The family settled in Muscatine County. Iowa, where she lived with her parents until she was married to Gottfried Zingg of Henry County, Iowu, Feb. 1866.This union was blessed with ten children, seven hoys and three girls. Pier husband and two daughters have preceded her in death. Seven sonsDU and one daughter survive her. Four of the sons, namley John, Andrew, Henry, and Herman were staying with . their mother at the time of. her death. David of Grundy Center, Iowa, Dan of Waterloo, Grover of Leland, and Mrs. Henry Gettman of Swea City. Besides her children she leaves to mourn her departure 28 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Pippert of Nora Springs, Iowa, and Mi's. E. A. Her wig of 'Wiilton Junction, besides a host of other relatives and friends.Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Zingg moved from Hardin County, Iowa, on Nov. 18 1894 to a farm near Buffalo Center where they have resided ever -since until her death. Her husband passed from this life on Sept. 25, 1909.Mrs. Zingg was an industrious woman. . She fell about five years ago and. iR0l her hip. In spite of this handicap, she continued to supervise her household and continued to do quite a good deal of the work up until about a month ago, when, she was stricken with dropsy which caused her death.Relatives and friends who were \ere from out-of-town for the funeral were: Dan Zingg and daughter of Waterloo: David Zing~ and son of Grundy Center; Mr, and Mrs. Henry Gettman, Mrs. Katie Schots, Mr. and Mrs. O. Combs and children, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Burger, all of Swea City; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Leibrandt and Mrs Banker of Elmore, Mrs. Ohas. Per-cig, Blue Earth; Mr. and Mrs. Clias. Pifforcl and son. Mrs. Ella Fralzer of Nora Springs; Grover Zingg, wife and children, Mrs. Peterson, and daughters, Mrs. Carlson, Wm.
