.*gFrank Sr. and Violet NisongerNisongerMarysville residents Frank I) Sr. and Violet Mickey Nisonger, the former Violet Hudson, are celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary.The couple were married Oct. 3. 1947. in Reno. Ne\. and are longtime Yuba-Sutter resi dents.He formerly served on the Marysville City Council for eight years, serving as mayor in 1966 and 1970. and retired from Pacific Telephone in 1982 after 41 vears of service. In addition, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and is a life member and former com mander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 948.A homemaker, she is past president of VFW Post 948 Auxiliarv and 18th District VFW Aux iliary and worked several years at Marysville High School.They have four children. Terrv Davis of Marysville, Frank Nisonger Jr. and Patty Nisonger. both of Klk Grove, and Susan Zilver-berg of Colorado Springs. Colo.; and five grandchildren.
