JOEL MILLER PASSESHIS 82NO BIRTHDA YON WEDNESDAY LASTTRKMT R AL BA I\ Wis., Oct. 2.A very pleasant evening was enjoyed at .Masonic hall Wednesday evening, when about t\v«»tity-five member* oftin* fraternity gathered in honor of•he eighty-third birthday of Joel Miller..Mr. Miller is a 32nd degree Masonand has been a member of this order for over sixty years.The evening was spent at cards and in a slt;*-ial way. A banquet was served in the dining room.Mrs. Rlleu Irvine and Mrs. W. C.Thomas left Thursday f«»r Durand, Wis., for a few days’ visit with Dr.and Mrs. C'leweh*.Mr. and Mk I.one. Atwood left auto Thursday for Albert Lea.of her birthday. A bountiful dinner was served and the evening spent at500. Mr .11. I*. Sparling and Mrs.L. S. Sanders carried off the honors of the evening, not losing a game.The bit«ket social given by the young people of the Congregational church Wednesday evening was asuccess socially and financially,* theyoung folks realizing twenty-five dollars for their treasury,Mr. and Mrs. Theodore, Schmitz entertained at dinner and luncheon Sunday.
