But 100th birthdays happen only once in a blue moon.A Reno man, Frank Yparra-guirre of 511 Roberts St., will be 100 oars old on Oct, 10, In faet, his 100th birthday will come three weeks before the 100th birthday of the State of Nevada-On Oct. 11 his family is holding an open house in honor of his birthday at the Elks Home on Kumle Lane from 2 to 4 p.m. and have invited all his friends and acquaintances to come and pay their respects to the venerable Nevadan.MWe hope there is time to let everyone know,” said Ypar-raguirre’s son Frank of Card-nerville* We would like to liave all his friends feel welcome.”In the interests of inviting all those who know Yparra* guirre, the planners of the party have arranged several formal announcements of the open house to be printed as advertisements in newspapers.Yparraguirre was born Oct. 10, 1864, in a little town in the Pyrenees Mountains in Spain.A revolution started when he was young.
