McMahon, whose resignation, as assistant general 'Superintendent of. the North Texas district of the Producers Oil company became effective today, was handsomely remembered, by the' district employes Thursday night, . being presented with .a gold watch as a token of esteem. Mr. Me-. Mahon was lured into the office byj Mr. Cullinao and the two were grop-' •ling their way in the dark when the t light were flashed on* disclosing some thirty or forty employes In the room. Judge John V. Kay, attorney for Urn company, mad« the speech of presentation, speaking of the love lliat the employes bore for the retiring * off 1-dial,, of their, regret at bis-departure and of their - good wishes for his future. Mr. McMahon, though almost overcome, replied, thanking the * era-oployes. ’ The occasion was a coiii-r ptete surprise to him,. The watch is 9 an .exceptionally fine one. .and is 'the joint gift of all the company’s eme ployes 'in tho districtMi*. McMahon will go to Oklahoma tonight to took after interests there, but expects .to visit Wichita Falls frequently, .William Little, who has been superintendent In the Moran field, succeeds him as assistant superintendent of the North Texas district.
