A SURPRISE DINNER.Sunday night, September 20, a number of friends and relatives gathered at the home of Wm. H. Brown and gave him a deligh'tful surprise, it being his 74th birthday. Mr. Brown went to church and on his return was greatly surprised to see the house full of people and a large table setting in the yard loaded with good things to eat. Thosepresent were: Messrs and Mesdames Thos. Kltterman, Ben Lasley, Wm. Diedrick, Daniel Rowe, Samuel Lasley, James Kitterman, Willard Rhodes, Henry Kitterman, Otto Diedrick, Zack Kitterman, Roy Kitterman and Mrs. Wm. Singleton, Mrs. Milt Smith, Mrs. Mary Marsh, Mrs. Jennie Brown, Mrs. Amos Rhodes and Misses Josie Kitterman, Elva Haun, Bessie Applegate, Florence Brown, Bessie Miller, Jessie Kelley, Alta Kitterman, Emma Diedrick, Jacie Singleton, Lorene Wiseman, and Bessie Kitterman and Messrs. Albert Kitterman, Ed Rhodes, Wyli, Gladys and Richard Diedrick, Aijvil Kitterman, Daniel Rhodes and Claude Kitterman. The afternoon was spent in musio and social chat..
