In the past the practice of some residents to start telephoning at the sound of the siren has caused much delay in transferring information to proper authorities. If the lines are left open and free for department calls to clear it could mean the saving or a home.THE WVFD MEETINGS are! held at the Willow school house ! on the second Tuesday of each month. The public is invited to attend the meetings and partiei-! pate in the discussions held on • local fire protection procedure. An instructive film is shown at j each meeting bv Jack Haselev 1 and refreshments are served by. ladies of the department auxiliary. The next meeting will be held on Dec. 12.
