THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 30, ISWillowfire callplan toldWILLOW — Notice has been given tfiai starting on Nov. 30 all fire calls to the Willow volunteer fire department must be made directly to the department.Fire call numbers are: NA 2-3080, if no answer the sec* ond call should be made to NA 2-2G71 and a third number, NA 2-2257 should be called if there is no response at the first two listed.A SPECIAL request was made by the department directors to all residents in the area, to refrain j from using the telephone after I the fire siren is heard. In the past the practice of some residents to start telephoning at the sound of the siren has caused much delay in transferring information to proper authorities. If the lines are left open and free for department calls to clear it could mean the saving or a home.THE WVFD MEETINGS are! held at the Willow school house ! on the second Tuesday of each month. The public is invited to attend the meetings and partiei-! pate in the discussions held on • local fire protection procedure. An instructive film is shown at j each meeting bv Jack Haselev 1 and refreshments are served by. ladies of the department auxiliary. The next meeting will be held on Dec. 12.
