Five Years—•Ml) People Present.About ihroo hundred relatives and friends were entertained Saturday evening by Mr. and Mrs. Gus Bloe-baurn, Jr., at the Knights of Columbus Mall in honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of their marriage and u most enjoyable time was spent. Dancing was a feature of the entertainment and at 11 o’clock a bounliful supper was served and refreshments were in an abundance. !Mr. Blocbaum who is now chief engineer at the city water works, and Miss Dorothy Rowe were united in marriage on November 28th, 1911. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Blocbaum and his father for many years was a member of the , St. Charles police force, and Mrs. j Blocbaum is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rowe. Six children, iifour daughters and two sons, were born to their union, Miss Marceline, Clarahei, now Mrs. Louis Spaulding, Melvin, Inez, Frances and August Ernst HI. They also have one granddaughter.The Cosmos-Monitor joins friends in extending congratulations andwishes them many more years of happy married life.
