fA BASKET DINNER ATTHE PITCHFORD HOMEIRVINGTON, Nov. 30.—A basket dinner was enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pitchford onThanksgiving day. The day was delightfully spent by those present who were Miss Rose Schmidt and Miss Millie Krletemeyer of Addle-ville, Paul Schmidt and daughter Shirley Ann of Oakdale; Mr and Mrs. Ed Schmidt and Miss Mary and Albert Schmidt and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schmidt and children, Leroy, Dorothy and Billy, Mrs. Richard Chronlster and daughter j Betty, all of Beaucoup; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schmidt of Pleasant Grove; Mr. and Mrs. William FarK and sons, Kenneth and Howard; Mrs. M. Schmidt and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pitchford and children, Ar-leen, Lucille and Phyllis-Rev. H. E. Burge was a business visitor in Salem last Monday morn-I lag.On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Relhmans and daughters Lucille and Marcelle of Nashville and Mrs. Rose Schmidt of Addlevllle visited Frank Pitchford and family and Mrs. Pltchford's mother, Mrs. M-Schmidt who is making an extended visit at the Pitchford home.Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kiehn gave a Thanksgiving dinner which was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Clyde I Creath and little daughters, Ruth and Doris of Du Quoin; Fred Klehn and daughter LaVada and Leo Kiehn of Pinckneyvllle; Anthony Zack and family of Centraiia;KatleZack and Howard Baldridge ofCentralla; Henry Zink and family; Mr. and Mrs. William C. Droege, Mr. and Mrs. John Zack and son, Henry Zack and Vanieda Baldridgeall of Irvington.Frank Pitchford made a business trip to Cobden, Saturday.Mat Brazel and family of Decatur visited here last Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Dollie Brazel and family.
