GOIAHW WKDDINO**UA\\i nm I 35»ncy IV^nvov Celobiiito the l’iliiMh Anniversary of Their Marriage,Seventy-four friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. John Weaver Wednesday gathered at the home of the ago cl and honored couple at Dix station, on the liue of the Bald Eagle Valley railroad to help them celebrate the golden milepost of time since they stood at the altar and i took the solemn vow which sealed the contract previously entered into to become husband and wife. Mr. Weaver is 72 years old and his good wife Nancy is 70. None enjoyed yesterday's celebration uearly so much as Mr. and Mrs. Weaver, but everybody had a full measure of fun. None went away hungry, for both dinner and supper were provided, and the repasts were constructed from the best that farm and store could produce.All of the nine children of Mr. nnd Mrs. Weaver were present. They are Jerry Weaver, Altoona; Mrs. Henry Sharar, Tyrone; Samuel Weaver, Le-mo tit; Mrs. W. S. Johnson, Dix; John W. Weaver, Fowler; Mrs. S. G. McAlister, Morrisdale Mines; Mrs. William Irvin. Pnuxsutawuey; Mrs. William McAlister, Jersey Shore; George W. Weaver, Altoona. They were accompanied by their wives and husbands, and twenty-five of the twenty-six grandchildren were present also, us were the two great grandchildren. Joseph Weaver, brother of John, and Mrs. S. F. Mc-Monigle, sister of Mrs, Weaver, were i present also.Mr. aud Mrs. Weaver were presented with forty dollars in gold and they were recipients of various other presents.
