iIn the death of Hon. John Landis* of Sterling township, whichI happened on Tuesday, Crawford ; county loses one of its most highly respected and honored citizens. He was in his With year and had been in very good health for the past two months and bid fair to live a good many years longer. We were unable to learn the cause of his death as the news reached us as we go to press. lt;’rawford county, as a people, regret to hear of the passing away of such true honored citizens.
