Rev. James and Margie BeardBeards honored on 45th anniversaryRev. James and Margie Beard of Covington were honored with a 45th Wedding Anniversary open house on November 11 in the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Merle and Debbie Beard, in Covington, Tenn.Co-hosting the celebration were the couple’s other children, Stanley and Debbie Weir, Glenn and Carla Beard and Terry and Charlotte Jones of Covington.The serving table, covered witha white linen cloth, was adorned with a silk floral arrangement.Special guests were Mrs. Beard’s brother, Leon Haynes of Coldwater, Miss, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Beard of Blytheville.The Beards were married November 10,1945 at Clear Lake Baptist Church in Blvtheville. Rev. Beard is the padror of Durham-ville Bapfist Church in Ripley, Tenn.
