Mrs Eileen Mulligan. 48. Columbus, the winner of this week’s top prize in the Ohio Lottery’s Buckeye 1,000 game, is the former Eileen Simmons of Nelsonville.Eileen is married to John F. (Jack) Mulligan, also a Nelsonville native.Mrs Mulligan is a daughter of the late Harry and Goldie Simmons, who formerly lived on Madison St. in Nelsonville. Jack is a son of Mrs. Fred Mulligan. 274 W. Washington St., Nelsonville. and the late Mr. Mulligan.Eileen is a sister of Mrs. Edward (Alice) Calvert of Dicken Addition, (Logan Rt. 4). The Calverts gathered around their television set Friday night and were jubilant when Eileen was named the winner, Mrs. Calvert said today.Eileen and Jack have been marriedfor 29 years and have lived inColumbus all their married life. She is a salesclerk at Lazarus in Eastland.Mrs. Mulligan said she will donate $100 a month to her church and also plans to use part of her winnings for a trip to Hawaii and to send her daughter Terri to college.The Mulligans have three children — Mike, who lives in Columbus, and Jan and Terri, both still at home. Terri, theyoungest, will graduate this year from Big Walnut High School.Eileen will receive $1,000 a month for life, with at least $400,000 guaranteed.
