The occasion for the reception was 10th anniversary of the arrival in Princeton of Rev. and Mrs. Elmer T. Peters, who cameto Princeton Nov. 24. 1 940 fromKnoxville. 111.The home was attractively decorated for the reception with gift bouquets of cut flowers, and Mrs. Peters wore a gift corsage of white rose buds with a gardenia. Refreshments were served from a table centered with pink rosebuds and with white tapers. Wives of members of the church board presided at the tables and otherwise assisted in the servingGuests received between the hours of 2 and 5 o’clock in the afternoon enjoyed a program composed of piano selection by Mrs. J. A. Omen; vocal duet, Mrs. John Sellstrom and Mrs. Fred E. Anderson; piano solo. Miss Rosalie Tragordh; vocal solo in Swedish, Mrs. A. M. Ericson. The evening program included a clarinet solo by Phyllis Swanson; vocal solo. Janet Larson; piano solo, Mrs. Carl Linn; selection by ladies trio. Mrs. Harry Peterson, Mrs. Raymonr Erickson and Mrs. Melvin Morton; vocal duet. Alice Ruth Peterson and Joyce Svedstrom; vocal solo, Mrs Carl Rapp. Oakland. Cal.; plane duet. Marjorie and Lois Tragordh; selection by men's trio. John C. Nelson. Harry Peterson and Eugene Sellstrom.
