DEDICATION OF ST. JAMES’ CHURCH.This handsome new Church, situated in Green Township, eight miles from Cincinnati,•*' 1 ‘' ,v J I ’ I H I t£]was blessed last Sunday, by the Bishop. It is of brick, 85 by 60 feet, and 35 feet from the floor to the ceiling. It has also a neat belfry.The High Mass was sung by Very Rev* Mr. Ferneding, assisted by the Rev. Messrs. Weber and Tschieder S. J. as deacon and subdeacon, Rev. Joseph O’Mkaly officiating as Master of ceremonies. The Bishop preached in Englishand Rev. Mr. Tsciiieder in German. There_were forty eight pervona Confirmed. The.weather at an early hour in the morning was\ ■_ * ^ •% * ^ ~very unfavorable, although the sun ihone out, bright and summer-like a short time before the the commencement of the ceremony. Hence neither the congregation, nor the collection, was as large as had been anticipated. Every property holder in the congregation contributed^ 120 to the building and every working man from 820 to 830.
